Sr. Sales Manager
Establish sales objectives for Consulting, Training and/or Licensing services across wide range of Oracle Products including Oracle Applications, Oracle EBS (E biz), Oracle BI, Siebel, Oracle CRM, Oracle HCM, Peoplesoft, EPM, Hyperion and Exalytics by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products. Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results. Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans. Analyze costs and sales; determining improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of Consulting, Training and/or Licensing services in customer environment; and/or proposing changes in processes or use of services. Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends ,economic indicators, and competitors. Determine and establishes pricing strategies by monitoring costs, competition, supply and demand. Be responsible for obtaining profitable results through the sales team by developing the team through motivation, counselling, skills development and product knowledge development. Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible, and advising senior management on maximizing business relationships and creating an environment where customer service can flourish. Identify current and future market trends based on customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements. Persuade CXO level and other key decision makers that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery by arranging or making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product or service effectively meets client needs. Complete national sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results. Maintain national sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Plan and implement a specific appraisal system that describes the responsibilities and performance standards for each member of the sales team, set individual territory sales and commission targets and administer the commission plan. Personally observe the performance of IT sales representatives in the field on a regular basis. Provide high standards of ongoing training for the sales representatives so that they possess sufficient technical knowledge to present information on the company's products & services in an accurate and balanced manner.
Education: Masters in Business Administration or any related field.
