HR Director

Title: HR Director
Job Location: Ahmadabad, Gujarat
Experience: 12 – 15 years in HR specifically with Staffing Industry.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Leading the organization’s HR departments, including talent acquisition, learning and development, employee engagement, compensation and benefits and financial planning of the department
  • Conduct sourcing activities in order to fill open positions, design and manage recruitment and selection processes, which include written tests, group discussion, screening of candidates.
  • Develop corporate plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, health and safety etc.
  • Devise strategies for talent sourcing and networking, staffing, training and development, performance evaluation, etc. for the company
  • Create monthly reports on key talent acquisition metrics in competitive advantage in attraction, assessment and sourcing methodologies
  • Contributing to long-term goals around business and people development, including succession planning and c-suite talent acquisition
  • Supervise the work of HR personnel and provide guidance
  • Serve as the point of contact for employment relations and communicate with labor unions
  • Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards
  • Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required
  • Anticipate and resolve litigation risks
  • Report to senior management by analyzing data and using HR metrics
  • Maintain the right balance of effective working relationships between Operation Team and HR roles and responsibilities
  • Represent company internally and externally at career fairs or on-campus recruiting events and other corporate events with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities
  • Research TA trends in staffing industry and new ideas to improve TA activities

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as HR Director in Staffing Industry
  • Full understanding of the way an organization operates to meet its objectives
  • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations
  • Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices
  • A business acumen partnered with attention to the human element
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Diligent and firm with high ethical standards
  • BSc/BA in human resources, business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA in human resources will be a plus. As the human resource profession is constantly evolving, you will be expected to continuously update your learning and knowledge throughout your career.
